Mitsui Components Europe Limited (MCE) was established at Capel Hendre Industrial Estate, near Ammanford, Wales in June 1999 to manufacture high quality door locking mechanisms for the Automotive industry.  At Mce we manufacture Automotive Door Locks, Trunk Locks, Tailgate Locks and Openers, Seat Locks, Strikers, Trunk Openers, and Inside Handles.

Production commenced in May 2000, and in January 2005 and September 2008 the factory expanded its finished goods and goods in area.  We currently employ in excess of 100 people. 

MCE Ltd is a subsidiary of Mitsui Kinzoku Act which is based in Yokohama-shi, Japan and we have sister plants in China, India, Mexico, Japan, Thailand and USA. See our World Wide Mitsui Plants for further information..

Whilst geographically we are working in different areas, our philosophies and quality standards are the same. Globally, our corporate goal for all employees on a world-wide basis is Customer Satisfaction through the consistent achievement of Quality, Cost and Delivery targets. As part of the Mitsui Kinzoku ACT Group we have a Global Sourcing Strategy, but whenever possible we try to source within the EU with particular emphasis on localisation from Asia to Europe

MCE main customers are Toyota Motor Europe (TMMF) (TMUK) (TMMT), Honda of the UK Manufacturing Ltd. (HUM),  Renault SA, Dacia and Nissan.
